Men’s Golf Concludes Play at Temple Intercollegiate

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. – Sam Terry led the way for the Gardner-Webb men's golf team as the Bulldogs wrapped up play at the John Macdonald Temple Invitational Monday at The 1912 Club.
Terry was the top finisher for the Runnin' Bulldogs, finishing with a three-round total of 218. After a strong second round of 2-under par 68, he closed the tournament with a four-over par 74. He was the top finisher for Gardner-Webb in a tie for 13th. Reed Burton had a second round in the 70s and closed the tournament with a 73.
Jude Carper also shot 73 Tuesday while Hank Johnson had the low round of the day with a 1-over par 71.
The Bulldogs finished in seventh place as a team with a three-round total of 881. Host Temple won the team title while Drexel's Harry Cohen was the top medalist, finishing with a three-round total of 211.
