Big South Conference Releases 2026-27 Women's Basketball Conference Schedule

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Big South Conference unveiled its 2026-27 league women's basketball schedule Wednesday in an announcement from the league office.
The Gardner-Webb women's basketball team will open its conference slate on the road at Radford on Dec. 30th. That will be followed by its conference home opener against UNC Asheville on Jan. 2nd. GWU will then go on the road for back-to-back games the first being at Longwood on Jan. 6th followed by Winthrop on Jan. 9th.Â
After that, the Runnin' Bulldogs will host consecutive home games against High Point on Jan.13th followed by a contest against USC Upstate on Jan. 20. Following that, the team will head back on the road again to take on Presbyterian on Jan. 23rd.
The Runnin' Bulldogs will then come back to Boiling Springs for two games against Charleston Southern (Jan. 27) and Radford (Jan. 30). The team heads on the road for  two road games to begin February against High Point (Feb. 3) and UNC Asheville (Feb. 6).
GWU will then play two home games against Presbyterian (Feb. 10) and Winthrop (Feb. 13). This is followed by two road games for the Runnin' Bulldogs at Charleston Southern on February 17th and at USC Upstate on February 20th. The Runnin' Bulldogs will close out its regular-season conference play at home against Longwood on February 27th.Â
The Big South Tournament takes place from March 3-7 at Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City, Tenn. where the Runnin' Bulldogs will compete for a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
