2012-13 at Gardner-Webb: Sprinted to a career-best time in the 50 free at the Wingate Fall Frenzy, touching the wall at 24.21 … Achieved a personal best 100 free time of 53.45 at 2013 CCSA Championships …  Raced to a time of 24.31 in the 50 free at the CCSA Championships … Hard-working student-athlete who also set a new personal best 100 fly time at CCSA's her freshman season, finishing at 58.58 ... Swam the second leg on the 200 free relay during prelims of the CCSA Championship meet, splitting 24.20 … Split 58.93 in the 100 fly during prelims of the 400 medley relay at CCSA Championships … Split 27.55 in the 50 fly during CCSA prelims of the 200 medley relay … Anchored in 24.77 as part of GWU’s winning 200 medley relay in the dual meet win over Davidson … Also finished third in the 50 free (25.20) to help GWU knock off  the Wildcats … Member of the 2012-13 CCSA All-Academic Team.

High School/Club: Competed for Nashville Aquatic Club under coach John Morse ... Recipient of the NAC Leadership Award in 2011 and 2012 ... Helped NAC to Southeastern Championships during the 2011 and 2012 long course seasons as well as the 2012 short course season ... Also competed for David Lipscomb Academy ... Named the Academy's team MVP.

Personal: Born September 29, 1993 in Nashville, Tenn. ... Daughter of Bruce and Dottie Clayton ... Has an older sister (Courtney, 26) as well as an older brother  (Caleb, 22) ... Majoring in Exercise Science.
