2017-2018 at Gardner-Webb:  Went 2-3 on the season … Had three takedowns and four escapes … Wrestled at 174 pounds throughout most of the season, winning his lone match at the Hokie Open over Chattanooga’s Hunter Fornter by decision, 9-7, and earning a 4-1 decision over St. Andrews’ Kavoris Perry at the Newberry Open … Made the starting lineup against The Citadel, competing at 197 pounds, falling to Sawyer Root by tech fall, 18-3.
 
2016-2017 at Gardner-Webb: Redshirted … Posted a 7-4 record wrestling unattached at either 165 or 174 pounds … Went 3-2 at the Southeast Open at 165 pounds, earning a 22-6 tech fall win over American’s Nick Carey and a 11-6 decision over Maryland’s Vincent DiFilppo … Went 3-0 at the Newberry Open at 174 pounds, earning two wins by pin and one by major decision.

High School: Wrestled at West Caldwell (N.C.) High … Won the 2016 N.C. Class 2A State Championship at 160 pounds … Posted a perfect 61-0 record … Helped team to a fifth-place finish in the championship event … Named Class 2A State Tournament Most Outstanding Wrestler … Went 47-3 as a junior … Finished third at 2015 Class 2A State Tournament at 160 pounds.
