Wiley Jackson is entering his first season as an assistant coach at Gardner-Webb, joining the coaching staff in June 2019.
Jackson arrives in Boiling Springs after spending one season as an assistant coach at Barton College. The Bulldogs posted a 31-20 overall record and earned a second-place finish in teh Conference Carolinas standings.
Prior to his time at Barton College, Jackson spend two seasons as a graduate assistant at East Carolina University, and also spent one summer as an assistant coach and assistant general manager of the Morehead City Marlins of the Coastal Plain League.
Jackson played collegiately at UNC Pembroke, serving as one of the team's captains for the 2016 season as was named to the Peach Belt Presidential Honor Roll each season he was there. He was also named UNC Pembroke's Most Well Rounded Student-Athlete of 2016.
Jackson graduated from UNC Pembroke in 2016 with a bachelor of science degree in Exercise Physiology and received his master of science in Sport Management from East Carolina in 2018.
