High under Coach Smitty Grider … Helped Thunderbirds to a 13-1 record as a senior and a spot in the Class 6A State semifinals … A two-time All-Metro selection by the Montgomery Advertiser … Made 32 stops (26 solo), broke up 12 passes, added 4.0 tackles for loss, a fumble recovery and an interception as a senior … Named honorable mention All-Metro as a junior in 2015 … Collected 28 total tackles (25 solo) and broke up 17 passes that season … Also had an interception … A second-team All-Metro choice in 2014 as a sophomore … Collected 38 total tackles (27 solo) and broke up 11 passes … Had one interception … Returned three kicks for scores in 2014, including 99-yard and 78-yard kickoff returns … Also returned a punt 54 yards for a score … Returned nine kickoffs for 311 yards (34.6 ypr) and two scores ...
