Gardner-Webb University Athletics

Mauro was named the Director of Player Development at Gardner-Webb in Fall 2025. Prior to his arrival in the Springs, Mauro was a part-time coach with the Thunderwolves Baseball Club in Kenmore, N.Y.

During his time with the Thunderwolves, Mauro created and implemented new drills to increase team performance as well as observed players during practice to determine need for individual or team improvement. 

Mauro earned his Bachelor of Science from Niagara University in New York.
