Women’s Track and Field Earns 2016-17 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Gardner-Webb women's track and field team was recognized for its achievements in the classroom during the 2016-17 season, earning its fifth consecutive United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team award.
This marks the ninth time in the last ten years that Gardner-Webb's women's team has been honored by the USTFCCAA. A total of 218 women's teams earned All-Academic honors as a result of compiling a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher. Gardner-Webb posted a team GPA of 3.43 and was one of four Big South Conference programs to be recognized.
