BOILING SPRINGS – Gardner-Webb officially welcomed new head women's basketball coach Alex Simmons to the program on Wednesday morning during an introductory press conference on the floor in Paul Porter Arena.
Simmons spoke to the sizable gathering about her outlook, goals and program principles – before breaking off to speak with local media and meet several in attendance.
