CLINTON, S.C.- The Gardner-Webb volleyball team dropped a straight-set decision at Presbyterian in Big South Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
 
Gardner-Webb (2-18, 0-9 Big South) fell to Presbyterian (12-11, 6-3 Big South) by scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-20.  The Runnin' Bulldogs totaled 28 kills on 92 attempts for a .141 hitting percentage, while the Blue Hose totaled 41 smashes on 112 swings, attacking at a .205 clip.
 
Molly Johnson led the GWU attack with eight kills on the afternoon, followed closely by Maya Jeffcoat-Troy with seven.  Madi Riggs dished out a team-high 11 assists.
 
Charissa Coleman had 15 digs to lead the Runnin' Bulldogs, while Hannah Johnson had five total blocks to lead that effort.
 
Presbyterian was led on the attack by Lauren Talbert with nine kills.  Erin Cooke had 14 assists to lead the team.
 
Trinity Williams led the Blue Hose with 11 digs, and Hannah Chapman and Paige Cairns each had one block.
 
Gardner-Webb returns to action on Friday, November 1 at Campbell.  Action is set for a 6:00 pm start time with live coverage on ESPN+.
