Runnin’ Bulldogs Ready for Big South Cross Country Championships Saturday Morning

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb men's and women's cross country teams are set are prepared for the 2019 Big South Conference Cross Country Championships, being run Saturday morning in Lillington, N.C.
Action begins with the men's 8K race begins at 10:30 am, followed by the women's 5K race at 11:30 am.
Sandra Bolstad has been the top finisher for the women's squad throughout the season, and also set a personal record in the 5K at the adidas XC Challenge earlier this year with a time of 20:17.6.
On the men's side, Patrick Sastre has led the Runnin' Bulldogs in each event he took part in this season, setting PRs in the 5K at the Carolina Challenge with a time of 17:45.7 and the 6K at the adidas XC Challenge at 20:50.1
The 2019 Big South Conference Cross Country Championships are hosted by Campbell University at the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lillington N.C. More information on the event, including course maps and live result links can be found at www.bigsouthsports.com.
