Softball's Weekend Series at Charleston Southern Adjusted

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – With inclement weather expected to impact much of the Southeastern United States this weekend, Gardner-Webb's softball series at Charleston Southern has been adjusted.
The Runnin' Bulldogs (26-22, 5-13 Big South) will now take on the Bucs (16-30, 10-8 Big South) with a doubleheader on Thursday, April 18. First pitch of Thursday's twinbill is set for 3 p.m., while the series finale will start at noon on Friday.
All three games will be available on ESPN+.
The Runnin' Bulldogs recently wrapped up a three-game homestand against Presbyterian and went 2-1 against the Blue Hose. Head coach Tom Cole honored the team's five seniors – Andria Booth, Madi Lewis, Callie Thornton, Kaylee Wacaster and Annamarie Warley – before the 'Dogs' final home series.
Following the series at CSU, Gardner-Webb will travel to Hampton (April 27-28) for a three-game series to close out the regular season.
