
More PRs Set in Day Two of 2019 Big South Outdoor Track and Field Championships

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Gardner-Webb women's outdoor track and field team had six top-ten results while setting nine new personal records in the second day of the 2019 Big South Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
After two days, the Runnin' Bulldogs rank eighth overall. High Point leads the team standings.
In the pole vault, Louise Schmidtgen placed fourth with a height of 3.70 meters, setting a new personal record that ties for fourth-place in the GWU all-time rankings.
Diviana Forrest placed fourth in the 400-meter run to advance to Friday's finals, timing in at a personal best 56.35 seconds, a time that ranks third in GWU history. Kelsey Houser finished 15th, clocking in at 1:05.68.
Taliyah Wade placed seventh in the shot put with a mark of 12.72 meters. Arleasia McGee finished 10th with a distance of 11.50 meters, a new PR.
Khalilah Conway finished seventh overall in the high jump with a mark of 1.55 meters to set a new PR.
In the 800-meter run, Hannah Jones finished ninth with a time of 2:17.95 to set a new personal record with a time that sits at seventh on the GWU top-ten list. Amy Turlington finished 14th, clocking in at a personal best 2:19.97, and Faith Parandhamaia finished 19th with a time of 2:28.27 to set a new PR.
In the 100-meter dash, Kira Ramsey finished 19th at 12.71 seconds, setting a new PR. Maya Mallory followed in 21st with a personal best time of 13.24 seconds.
