BOILING SPRINGS, NC – Gardner-Webb Softball took out Maryland Eastern Shore on Sunday afternoon with a final score of 9-1, Gardner-Webb.

Gardner-Webb Softball will be back in action on Wednesday February 12th at UNC Charlotte with games at 3:00 PM and 5 PM.
Game Recap:
- In the 1st inning, Almond, Sterrett, and Owen scored runs to take a 3-0 lead.
- In the 3rd inning, Sterrett, and Sterret scored to make it 5-0.
- In the 5th inning, Baker scored to make it 6-1.
- In the 6th, Gardner-Webb ended the game early with three runs by Horrell, Goodrum, and Almond, making the final score 9-1.
- Pitcher Laken Myers only allowed two hits and one run.
