Dyment Voted to Big South Conference Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Gardner-Webb junior midfielder Em Dyment was voted to the 2020 Big South All-Academic Team on Thursday afternoon.
Dyment (Whitby, Ontario) has a cumulative 4.0 GPA while seeking a degree in exercise science. The 2020 Big South Lacrosse All-Academic Team combined to post an impressive 3.95 GPA as a group.
She helped lead the team to its best start in program history, posting a 6-3 record. This record also included a program-record four-game win streak.
The Ontario native started in seven games on the season. She scored three goals with an impressive 80 percent of shots on goal. Dyment finished the season with six ground balls.
The award is voted on by the sports information directors at the member schools of the Big South Conference. This is Dyment's first appearance on the Big South All-Academic Team.
Gardner-Webb finished atop the Big South standings when the 2020 season concluded, tying the program record for wins in a season through just nine outings.
