Women's Lacrosse Releases Schedule for the 2021 Season

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Jessie Aguglia, Gardner-Webb women's lacrosse head coach, released the team schedule for the 2021 season on Friday afternoon.
The schedule features six home games and nine away games. Six of the nine nonconference games for the 2021 season feature teams that were included in the previous season's schedule.
The Runnin' Bulldogs season will start their season on February 12th at 3 p.m. in Spangler Stadium against Kennesaw State. Gardner-Webb will be looking to build on their four-game win streak dating back to last season.
The Runnin' Bulldogs host two more games before the start of conference play. They will play home games against Wofford on the 17th and Cincinnati on the 21st.
The team will play the remainder of their six nonconference games on the road. The trip starts with playing at Akron on the 26th, followed by Youngstown State on the 28th.
The following weekend, on March 4th, the Runnin' Bulldogs make a trip to Greenville, S.C. to play Furman at 6 p.m. Next up for the team is a matchup at Stetson (3/12) and a game against Mercer (3/14) to conclude the weekend. The road trip ends with a game at VCU on the 20th, wrapping up the nonconference schedule.
Conference games for the team begin with the Runnin' Bulldogs hosting Radford on April 3rd. Following this game, on April 7th, the team will be playing at Presbyterian. On April 10th, Gardner-Webb returns to host Campbell with a first draw scheduled for 1 p.m. The Runnin' Bulldogs will then play at Longwood (4/17) and High Point (4/21). The regular season finishes on senior day on April 24th against Winthrop at Spangler Stadium.
The top four finishers in the regular season from the conference will qualify for the Big South Conference Tournament. The #1 seed in the tournament will host the event. The semifinals will be on April 30th and the finals on April 2nd.
