
Gardner-Webb Lacrosse Adds Two to Complete '22 Recruiting Class

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Women's Lacrosse announced the final two players for their 2022 recruiting class on Friday morning. The two players added were Emma Meyer of Maryland and Emma Sowers of Pennsylvania.
Emma Meyer (Berlin, MD) excelled on the field and in the classroom posting a 4.0 GPA along with a Second-Team All-Bayside Conference Award. During her freshman year, she helped her school win a regional title. Her club team is LBC. Meyer also plays soccer at her high school. She serves in her school's SGA, National Honor Society, and Connections Club.
Emma Sowers (Royersford, PA) has been named to wide variety of different watchlists and teams during high school. In 2019 she was on WPLL Futures for New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 2020. For 2021, she was named to the PA Prep Live Watchlist. At her high school, she was a varsity letterwinner for 2020 and 2021. Sowers was a member of the 2020 Under Armour Underclass Philadelphia Highlight Team too.
