BOILING SPRINGS – Gardner-Webb University Athletics has announced expanded radio coverage for the 2021-2022 basketball season. The
Runnin' Bulldogs Sports Network (RBSN), the official multimedia home of GWU Athletics, will provide audio play-by-play coverage of Gardner-Webb basketball throughout the season.
Additionally, Gardner-Webb Athletics and WGNC Radio have reached an agreement to expand their existing partnership. WGNC will air select RBSN broadcasts of Gardner-Webb men's basketball games beginning with the season opener on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at UNLV. The online streaming package includes coverage of all postseason games for both the men's and women's basketball teams.
The complete list of men's games on WGNC, and women's games online, will be announced at a later date.
Director of Broadcasting
Phil Constantino will serve as the primary play-by-play announcer for men's basketball radio broadcasts and will call the action for all road games. Veteran sportscaster Jim "Mojo" Morrison will serve as the play-by-play announcer for home games and assist Constantino with color commentary for select road broadcasts.
Constantino, Morrison, and Jackson Kaplan will rotate on-air responsibilities for women's basketball broadcasts.
