"When I saw she was available I knew we needed to get her to Gardner-Webb. It really is a full circle thing for us, as she started travel ball with me and will end her softball career with me. Pesqueira is a true utility player and will only continue to grow here, I am so excited for her future and what she will accomplish as a Runnin' Bulldog."

Where Pesqueira started a total of 12 games and played in 31 for the Lopes. During her stint at GCU, Pesquira went 8-for-38 at the plate and recorded 16 putouts and 26 assists on the field.
