Track & Field Announces Eric Dols as Assistant Coach

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Eric Dols has been announced as the new men's and women's track & field assistant coach at Gardner-Webb University, announced by head coach Brian Baker on Wednesday afternoon.
"Eric brings a wealth of experience to our program," said Baker. "He has earned All-American status as a thrower, and has served as a volunteer collegiate coach, and we are so excited to have him join our Runnin' Bulldog staff."
During his time in Minneapolis, Dols led the Gophers to two individual Big Ten titles and coached several Division I National Championship qualifiers.
The Prior Lake, Minn. native graduated from Hamline University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. While competing for the Pipers, Dols' was a four-time Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Champion, an eight-time Division III All-American, and a three-time Division III Academic All-American.
