BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb women's basketball team secured its spot in the win column on Tuesday night, as the Runnin' Bulldogs emerged victorious over the Hampton Pirates with a final score of 92-82.

Gardner-Webb (8-13, 6-4) shot 52.5% (31-for-59) from the floor, 45.8% (11-for-24) from beyond the arc, and 59.4% (19-for-32) at the charity stripe. The Runnin' Bulldogs scored 30 points in the paint and 21 points off of turnovers from the Pirates.

Hampton (7-9, 3-3) shot 50.0% (27-for-54) from field-goal range, 40.0% (4-for-10) from three-point range, and 77.4% (24-for-31) at the free-throw line. The Pirates scored 40 points in the paint and a total of 46 points off of the bench in tonight's matchup.

Tonight's game was the second game in a row this season that all five starters scored in double-figures.
Lauren Bevis led the pack with a team-high 21 points (6-11 FG, 4-7 3PT, 5-6 FT), three assists, and two rebounds.
Ki'Ari Cain followed with 18 points (6-11 FG, 3-6 3PT, 3-4 FT), five assists, two steals, and a single rebound.
Alasia Smith recorded 16 points (6-8 FG, 1-1 3PT, 3-4 FT) and noticed a career-high six assists.
Jhessyka Williams put up 14 points (5-10 FG, 1-1 3PT, 3-8 FT)
Lyrissa Deans followed with 12 points (4-5 FG, 4-6 FT).

Gardner-Webb will be back in action on Saturday, February 5, as it travels to UNC Asheville for a clash of the 'Dogs. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. and will stream on ESPN+.
