GWU led for over 38 minutes of the matchup, and its biggest lead of the day was 19 points.

Gardner-Webb (9-13, 7-4) shot 40.0% (28-for-70) from the floor, 31.6% (6-for-19) from beyond the arc, and 87.1% (27-for-31) at the charity stripe. The Runnin' Bulldogs capitalized off of 36 points in the paint, 18 fast break points, and 14 second-chance points.

UNC Asheville (7-15, 2-9) shot 38.2% (26-for-68) while in field-goal range, 26.3% (5-for-19) from three-point range, and 83.3% (20-for-24) at the free-throw line. The Bulldogs scored 38 points in the paint and 12 second-chance points in today's matchup.Â
