GAFFNEY, S.C. – Gardner-Webb prevailed 7-0, and 6-0 in their two matches against Limestone on Friday afternoon. The wins move the Runnin' Bulldogs to 10-7 on the season.

In the first match, GWU swept at doubles.
Sebastian Harris and
Connor Enslin won the opening match from the #2 position, 6-1.
Victor Putter and
Chrisjan Van Wyk clinched the point from the topflight.
Numa Lemieux-Monette and
Eduardo Dias also won their match at #3, 6-2.
Gardner-Webb continued to showcase their skill sets, winning five of the singles matches in straight sets. Dias won the first match from the #1 position, 6-2, 6-1. Enslin's match at #4 was the next to finish at 6-1, 6-0. Harris clinched the team's win in the first match 6-4, 6-3 from flight #2.
Alex Lepine won his match at #3 while leading in a third set tiebreaker, but his opponent was forced to withdraw with an injury.
John Spring and
Cathal Butler won on courts 5 and 6, with both of their scores ending at 6-3, 6-2. This completed the team's sweep in the first match.
The second match saw many lineup changes with new doubles pairs on courts 2 and 3. There were also two different players that were used in singles matchups.
The Runnin' Bulldogs claimed wins on all three doubles courts. Butler and Spring won 6-0 at #3 with Putter and Van Wyk clinching the point 6-1 in the #1 position. Lemieux-Monette and Enslin won 7-5 on court #2.
Dias won his match after the first game due to Limestone's player being forced to retire with an injury. Lemieux-Monette won 6-1, 6-1 from #5, with Butler clinching the team's win 6-3, 6-1 in position #6.
Enslin won on court #4, 6-0, 6-0, while Van Wyk won 6-4, 6-2 from flight #2 to continue the team's dominance over Limestone. Harri's match at #3 went unfinished due to rain and he was leading 6-1, 6-6.
Gardner-Webb's next match will be Saturday, March 19 at Campbell with the team looking to move to 4-0 in Big South play. Sunday's match at ETSU was canceled due to expected inclement weather.
