Thornhill Wraps Up Season At NCAA East Preliminary

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Chase Thornhill competed in the men's 400-meter run on Wednesday afternoon at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East Preliminary Championship, which took place on the campus of Indiana University at the Robert C. Haugh Track and Field Complex.

The Perry Hall, Maryland native placed 40th in the event, clocking in a time of 47.94 seconds at the finish line. Thornhill's finish at the East Prelim was just 1.4 seconds off of his career best, a program record that was previously set on April 23rd at the Aggie Invitational.
