Annie Dombrowski Named Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach

Former Ultimate Lacrosse Head Coach and Assistant joins the GWU staff
BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb University women's lacrosse team has announced Annie Dombrowski as its new Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach, Head Coach Mirgon Crum announced on Nov. 13.
"I am so thrilled to bring Annie onboard with us to Gardner-Webb.", said coach Mirgon Crum. "She brings confident energy to the culture, which we were looking for in our Assistant Coach role. I am sure that our players will buy into her and all she brings to us."
Dombrowski joins the Gardner-Webb family following serving as a Head Coach and Assistant Coach for Ultimate Lacrosse CC in Chester County, Pa. since 2022. She assisted in the developing and facilitating of agility, conditioning, skills, IQ, and stick work of young players grades four through 11. She also advised athletes on college recruitment process and engaged with college coaches on their behalf.
During this time Dombrowski also served as a Volunteer Assistant Coach with the Byrn Mawr College women's lacrosse team since Sept. 2023, and also has served as a personal lacrosse trainer since 2019.
Dombrowski is a two-time graduate of St. Bonaventure University in N.Y. She earned her master's in Sports Administration in May 2023 making to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Adolescence Education and bachelor of Art in History in May of 2022. Dombrowski played five seasons for the St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse program.
