Waller, Prugh Tabbed All-Academic By Big South

Amy Prugh was named to the women's All-Academic Team, and Joe Waller was named to the men's team.
Prugh's season was highlighted by a 10:52.00 3000m Steeplechase at the Big South Outdoor Championship. Prugh took first place and set a new Gardner-Webb school record with the finish. The mid-distance runner capped her championship weekend off with a 3rd place 4:33.48 in the 1500m which was second all-time in school history. Prugh posted a 3.94 GPA in Economics/Finance to earn the honors.
Joe Waller was selected to the men's All-Academic team after receiving the same honors during the indoor season.
Weller set a personal record in the 800m at the Catamount classic this season with a time of 2:02.50. He earned a 3.94 in Psychology this year to help his selection for the All-Academic honors.
Track & Field will next be in action at the NCAA Eastern Regionals May 24th from Jacksonville, Florida.
