CLEMSON, S.C. – The Gardner-Webb University softball team dropped its non-conference meeting with Clemson University by a final score of 8-0.
The Tigers got the scoring going early with a two-run spot in the first inning. Clemson went on to add four in the second, and two more to run rule the 'Dawgs.
Gardner-Webb will return to the field for their Big South opener at home against Longwood University. The home series will begin on Saturday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m.
