CHARLOTTE, N.C. –Andrea Lyon has been named Big South Co-Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday, April 23. This is Lyon's fifth weekly award of the 2024 season.

A graduate student from West Columbia, S.C., Lyon pitched 10.0 innings over three games for the Runnin' Bulldogs this past week including a complete game victory over Presbyterian College on April 28. She registered seven strikeouts in those games.

Offensively, she recorded five hits, including three doubles, two RBI's, one walk, and posted a batting average of .313. This included a 2-3 performance against nationally ranked Duke.
