Terriers shut out Runnin’ Bulldogs in final game of their regular season schedule
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Gardner-Webb University softball team fell on the road against Wofford College on Wednesday evening by a final score of 4-0.
The Terriers got one across in the first via a fielding error, two across with a pair of singles in the third, one more via a single in the sixth. Wofford's Margaret Axelson got the win, and Elle Doolittle the loss.
This was the final regular season game for Gardner-Webb. The Runnin' Bulldogs now await their seeding in the Big South Conference Tournament, which will begin Thursday, May 9.
