BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Senior punter Brady Braun of the Gardner-Webb football team has been named a Phil Steele Mid-Season All-American as announced on Wednesday, October 15.
Braun has been a staple in the special teams game for the Runnin' Bulldogs, averaging a nation's-best 49.61 yards per kick. Braun has forced four fair catches while pinning the ball inside the 20-yard line on eight occasions. He has a long punt of 61 yards for the season.
The Phil Steele All-American Award recognizes top players in different divisions and conferences and are published annually in Steele's Phil Steele Football Preview.
