
Gardner-Webb Women's Basketball Releases Upcoming 2025-26 Schedule

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Now official, head coach Terri Williams and the Gardner-Webb women's basketball team have released its upcoming 2025-26 schedule, with 29 games in total, including 13 inside Paul Porter Arena
The Terri Williams era begins not far from campus, as the Runnin' Bulldogs travel to Charlotte to take on Queens on the opening night of the season, November 3rd. Three more road games follow in early November, as Gardner-Webb then travels to West Georgia on November 8th, Mercr on November 10th, and ACC foe Virginia Tech on November 13th
Finally the Dawgs return to Boiling Springs on November 16th, taking on Hampton in the 2025-26 home opener. Gardner-Webb will also host UNC Wilmington in a midweek game, scheduled for November 19th. GWU then travels south to Coastal Carolina, where the Runnin' Bulldogs will take part in the Coastal Carolina Thanksgiving Tournament, between November 28th and 30th. The Runnin' Bulldogs will face Jackson State on November 29th and Coastal Carolina on November 30th, with both games taking place in Conway, SC
GWU comes back home for three straight home games to begin December, welcoming App State to Paul Porter Arena on December 1st, Wofford on December 4th, and Western Carolina for the return game of a home-and-home on December 13th.
Gardner-Webb ends December with a couple familiar non-conference opponents from last season, visiting ETSU on December 18th and another ACC foe in Wake Forest on December 22nd. After the holiday break, Gardner-Webb returns to action and begins Big South play at Winthrop on December 31st.
After opening the league schedule on New Years Eve, Big South play ramps up in January. The Runnin' Bulldogs will host UNC Asheville on December 7th an USC Upstate on January 10th back-to-back, before hitting the road again to face Radford on January 14th and Charleston Southern in the Buc Dome on January 17th. January ends with a flurry, as GWU takes on Presbyterian at home on January 21st, visits High Point for an away game on January 24th, comes all the way back home to host Longwood on January 28th, then heads back out on the road to play UNC Asheville a second time on January 31st.
The Red and Black open February with home games against Winthrop on February 7th and Charleston Southern on February 11th. Gardner-Webb then faces perhaps the toughest part of its schedule, with three Big South away games in a four game stretch. GWU visits Presbyterian on February 14th and Longwood on February 18th, returns home to face High Point on February 21st, before the final road game of the season at USC Upstate on February 25th. Gardner-Webb wraps up the regular season at home against Radford on February 28th.
The Big South Tournament takes place from March 4th through 8th in Johnson City, Tenn. where the Runnin' Bulldogs will compete for a berth in the NCAA Tournament
