Tredway Earns Big South Freshman of the Week Nod

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Rookie midfielder Maddie Tredway of the Gardner-Webb women's lacrosse team has been tabbed Bog South Conference Freshman of the Week as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.
Tredway recorded a career-high 12 draw controls for Gardner-Webb against Campbell, the most in the Big South this season and four shy of the conference record. She also picked up a career-high three ground balls, put two of her three shots on goal and had one free-position attempt.
Tredway and the Runnin' Bulldogs return to action on Thursday, February 19, traveling to the state of Georgia to take on Kennesaw State. First draw control is scheduled for 3 p.m.
