Tredway Earns Second Big South Women's Lacrosse Freshman of the Week Nod

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the second time this season, freshman midfielder Maddie Tredway has been named Big South Conference Women's Lacrosse Freshman of the Week as announced by the league today.
Tredway posted her first-career hat trick at Kennesaw State, adding three draw controls, two ground balls and one caused turnover in for the Runnin' Bulldogs. She put four of her five shots on goal and converted on both of her free position attempts. The freshman midfielder posted all three of her goals in the second quarter, helping Gardner-Webb make it a one-score game at halftime. All three of her goals came unassisted.
The Runnin' Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday, February 25 as they take on the Monarchs of Old Dominion. That contest is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
