
Knight Becomes Fourth Different Runnin' Bulldog to Land Big South Player of The Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Per release from the league office, senior first baseman Maggie Knight has been named Big South Player of The Week, becoming the fourth different Runnin' Bulldogs player to receive the honor this season
Knight helped the Runnin' Bulldogs to a perfect 5-0 week and Big South sweep of Charleston Southern with a .545 batting average, .636 slugging percentage and .688 on-base average. She recorded six hits, scored four runs, had six RBI, one double and five walks in 16 plate appearances. Knight was 3-for-3 with two RBI in the opener of the CSU series, went 2-3 and plated three runs in game two, and walked and scored in the finale
GWU returns to action on Tuesday afternoon at Queens with a single game scheduled for 4 pm
