Hoffman Picked As Big South Women's Track and Field Freshman of The Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Per release from the conference office, freshman Hannah Hoffman of the Gardner-Webb track and field team has been named Big South Freshman of The Week after a strong individual meet weekend
Competing in hammer throw for the Runnin' Bulldogs, Hoffman won the event at the Winthrop Invitational with a distance of 53.70m. Her performance ranks 12th among all freshmen in the East Region in NCAA Division I this season, and meets the U-20 Auto Qualifying Standard. In addition, Hoffman's throw puts her fifth in Gardner-Webb program history for the event
Hoffman and the Runnin' Bulldogs will be back in action on April 24th and 25th at the WCU Catamount Classic in Cullowhee, N.C.
