McLamb Named Big South Freshman of The Week After Shutout at ETSU

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Per release from the Big South Conference office, freshman right-hander Glenna McLamb has been named Big South Freshman of The Week for the second time this season
In just one start this week, McLamb was excellent for GWU. The freshman right-hander tossed a 6.0 inning shutout, allowing just two hits and a walk as the Runnin' Bulldogs scored a 1-0 victory. It was the third time this season that McLamb has pitched at least 4.0 innings without allowing a run, following 5.0 innings against Furman on February 8th and 4.0 innings against Northwestern State on February 20th
McLamb and the Runnin' Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday, May 6th at 5:00 pm against Presbyterian in the first round of the 2026 Big South Softball Championships
