Summer 2008: A Coastal Plains League (CPL)All-Star for Coach Robbie Wilson and the Outer Banks Daredevils ...Batted .266 with 13 doubles and 33 RBI in 51 games.

2008 at NC State: Battled through injuries toplay in five games for the Wolfpack.

High School: Played at nearby Crest (N.C.) Highunder Coach Steven Hodge and for Shelby Post 82 under Mike Grayson... An All-State selection for the Chargers in 2007 after batting asizzling .557 with 33 runs scored, 12 home runs and 33 RBI in just25 games ... Earned Big South 3A/4A Conference Player of the Yearhonors in 2007 after posting a 1.186 slugging percentage and a .690on base percentage ... Batted .453 with eight home runs as a juniorin 2006 ...
