Biography

2022 at Gardner-Webb: Voted All-Conference First-Team behind her best career season after making a switch from midfield to full-time defense starting in all 19 games … Selected Big South Defender of the Week twice during the year on February 22 and March 22 … Became the program’s all-time leader with five draws in the team’s 12-8 win at George Washington on March 7 … Led the team in draw controls collecting 121 on the year, a new GWU record and fourth in the Big South’s history … Was 3rd in the Big South and 13th in the NCAA in DCs per game (6.37) … Had 53 groundballs on the year, second on the team … Finished 6th in the Big South and 18th in the NCAA in GBs per game (2.79) … Caused 23 turnovers, the second highest for Gardner-Webb … Had a CT in 13 of the games during the season and had eight with multiple … Scored her first goals since her freshman season in 2018, netting a goal at George Washington (3/7) and two versus High Point (4/27) … Set career highs in GBs (8) and CTs (4) on February 25 hosting Cincinnati.
