Three-Time Big South Freshman of the Week (10/10, 10/24, 11/21)

Played in ten games at running back and on kickoff return...Rushed for 459 yards and six touchdowns on 76 carries...Also returned eight kickoffs for 297 yards...Tallied 141 kickoff return yards along with 77 rushing yards at Eastern Kentucky (11/26)...Averaged 47.0 yards on his three kickoff returns against the Colonels, which featured returns of 53, 50 and 38 yards, the second-highest kickoff return average in the Big South’s playoff history...Also had 12 carries for 77 yards and a touchdown in the game...Earned his first Big South Freshman of the Week honors (10/10) after rushing ten times for 85 yards and two touchdowns at Robert Morris (10/8)...Took home the honor again just two weeks later (10/24) after rushing the ball 14 times for 98 yards and a touchdown at Charleston Southern (10/22)...Ran the ball 12 times for 93 yards and two touchdowns to earn his third Big South Freshman of the Week honor (11/21) of the season vs NC A&T (11/19)

High under Coach Melvin Brown … Runs the 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds … Runs the 100m dash in 10.8 seconds … A first-team All-Region 6-AAAA selection in 2021 … Led DeKalb County with 1,714 yards rushing on 182 carries, averaging a healthy 9.4 yards per attempt … Scored 17 touchdowns on the ground … Caught four passes for 116 yards and another touchdown … Had a 67-yard punt return for a score … Carried 19 times for 315 yards and two scores vs. North Oconee (Ga.) High … Had three of the top-10 rushing performances in DeKalb County in 2021 … Ran for 277 yards and had 322 all-purpose yards in a win over Mays (Ga.) High … Ran for 205 yards and two carries in a win over Stephenson (Ga.) High … Added a 67-yard punt return score in that game
