Richie Wall is entering his first season on the GWU men's
soccer staff in 2012, having wrapped up his playing days on thepitch
at the end of the 2011 season.
Wall, who will be in charge of soccer operations, played forthree
years at Gardner-Webb after transferring from WingateUniversity.
During his career at Gardner-Webb, Wall played in 55
matches, recorded 37 starts and logged over 2,300 minutes on thefield for the
Runnin' Bulldogs. The Charlotte, N.C. native
recorded five career goals and five assists from his midfieldposition,
including posting the game-winning goal in GWU's 1-0 win overUNC Asheville in
2011. Also recorded an assist in the Runnin'
Bulldogs' 1-0 win over Clemson in 2010, GWU's first-ever winover an ACC
opponent.
Wall, who recently graduated in August 2012 with a degree in
Sports Management, is currently working toward his Master'sdegree in Business
Administration at Gardner-Webb University.
