Gardner-Webb University Athletics

Cierra Harris is in her third season as an assistant coach for the Gardner-Webb women’s basketball team in 2017-18. 

Prior to becoming an assistant coach,  Harris served three seasons as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Runnin’ Bulldogs.

Harris, who transitioned from a student-athlete to the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations in 2012-13, gave up her last year of eligibility due to injury to become a part of Head Coach Rick Reeves’ staff.

Harris assists in everyday operations such as team travel, on-campus recruiting and video exchange.

Harris played for the Runnin’ Bulldogs for three years from 2009-12 and saw action at both forward and center positions.

The Inman, S.C. native battled injuries for her entire career, yet suited up for 39 contests for the Runnin’ Bulldogs.

Harris graduated from Gardner-Webb in December 2012 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.
