
Gardner-Webb Swim Meet Against UNC Wilmington To Help Support Breast and Colon Cancer Awareness

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - In what will be the first home meet of the 2010-11 season for the Gardner-Webb men's and women's swim teams, the Runnin' Bulldogs will use to event to raise awareness for breast and colon cancer.
This special event will be held on the Gardner-Webb campus, Saturday October 23rd beginning at 10:00 AM to help support family members on each team whose family members are currently fighting cancer. The purpose of the meet is to promote breast and colon cancer awareness, as well as extend the love and support to the Gardner-Webb team members and their families.
Donations will be gladly accepted during the meet that will be used to fund chemotherapy treatments, breast cancer, and colon cancer foundations.
The meet between GWU and UNC Wilmington will begin at 10:00 AM at the Gardner-Webb Aquatics Center.
