BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – In an exciting day two of tournament action, Gardner-Webb Softball took two back to back wins on their home turf on Saturday afternoon.

Winning the first game over Canisius with a score of 13-2, Gardner-Webb. As well as the second game against Youngstown State with a score of 5-3 Gardner-Webb.

In a short recap of tonight's wins, in the first game Brooke Perry hit a grand slam with the bases loaded in the fourth inning to boost the Dawgs' out in front of a tied game against Canisius.

In the second game, the Dawg's took the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning by scoring five runs over Youngstown State to take the lead and the win.

Gardner-Webb Softball will be back in action tomorrow February 9^th at 12:30 PM taking on Maryland Eastern Shore in the final game of the AmericaInn Gardner-Webb Softball Tournament.
