Gardner-Webb's Stina Kleppe Named To Big South Conference All-Decade Team

CHARLOTTE – Gardner-Webb's Stina Kleppe was named to the Big South Conference women's soccer All-Decade Team on Wednesday, presented by Hercules Tires.
The team was selected by a combination of votes from a 15-person committee of administrators from around the Big South Conference and a fan vote. The fan vote comprised 20 percent of the overall total.
Kleppe was one of five midfielders chosen for the decade, which represented the 2010-2019 seasons.
During her time in Boiling Springs, Kleppe earned All-Big South Conference honors four times. The Skien, Norway, native played in 81 matches, started 80 times and scored 27 goals to go with 15 assists. She scored 23 goals over her final two seasons, leading the Runnin' Bulldogs to the Big South Conference title game in both 2018 and 2019.
Kleppe notched 11 game-winning goals, including six this past season. She finished the 2019 campaign with 12 goals to lead the team and totaled 29 points.
She graduated in May, 2020, with a degree in biology and was a two-time member of the Big South Conference All-Academic Team. She was also a three-time All-State selection and was twice named United Soccer Coaches Association All-Region.
