CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Gardner-Webb goalkeeper Katelyn Kellogg (Goshen, Ky.) was named the Defensive Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 18-24, as announced by the conference office on Monday.
 
Kellogg posted two clean sheets to keep the Runnin' Bulldogs in contention for a berth in the six-team Big South Championship tournament.  She first blanked USC Upstate with three saves last Wednesday, then stopped four Presbyterian shots in a victory over the Blue Hose on Saturday.  Kellogg faced 26 combined shots in the two victories while playing all 180 minutes in net.
