Katelyn Kellogg Named Big South Defensive Player of The Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Senior goalkeeper Katelyn Kellogg (Goshen, Ky.) has been named the Big South women's soccer Defensive Player of the Week, announced today by the conference office.
Kellogg led Gardner-Webb to its first two wins of the season with back-to-back shutout victories at Jacksonville State and Alabama State. She recorded 17 saves in 180 minutes of action, and her clean sheet at JSU featured 12 saves.
The Goshen, Kentucky native currently leads the conference in saves, recording a total of 46 over six games.
The Runnin' Bulldogs will be back in action on Thursday, September 9th, as they will travel to take on Elon. The match is slated to start at 7 p.m.
