Gardner-Webb Wraps Up Carolina Challenge, Prugh Sets Second All-Time Women's 5k Record

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gardner-Webb competed in their second indoor meet of the 2022-2023 season from South Carolina Friday and Saturday.

The top ten finishes for the Runnin' Bulldogs were as follows:

Women's 800m – (2:22.10) Julia Reinboth – 10^th
Women's 5000m Inv – (17:38.82) Amy Prugh – 1^st(PR) (2^nd all-time in school history)
Women's 5000m – (20:44.43) Jennifer Escalera – 10^th

Women's High Jump – (1.50m) Alyiah Eugene – 6^th
Men's Long Jump – (6.74m) Ayenda Watson – 10^th (PR)

Women's Shotput – (12.66m) Taliyah Wade – 1^st
Men's Shotput – (14.92m) Nathaniel Wonsley – 2^nd (PR)
Men's Shotput – (13.11m) Quentin Peterson – 9^th (PR)
