Runnin’ Bulldogs score seven in final match of the season
ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The Gardner-Webb University women's soccer team closed out their 2023 campaign with a 7-0 shutout victory at South Carolina State on Monday night. Five different Runnin' Bulldogs scored the seven goals in the contest.
The first half saw Julia Coval, Klara Ovefelt, and Mackenzie Farr hit the back of the net. The second half saw Megan Gettys net a pair of goals, Coval score her second and Lea Gossett close out the scoring for Gardner-Webb. Stephanie Liu earned her second career clean sheet for GWU.
