Runnin’ Bulldogs drop midweek road contest to the Hatters
DELAND, FLA. – The Gardner-Webb University women's lacrosse team fell on the road to Stetson University by a final score of 23-3. Three different 'Dawgs hit the back of the net against the Hatters.
Stetson got out to an 11-goal lead by the end of the first quarter. They were able to tally six more prior to the half. Gardner-Webb got on the board by way of goal from Mackenzie Gallery early in the third at 13:35, followed by another from Aimie Perino at 10:52. The Hatters added another six before Taylor Tobin tallied the final goal of the game.
The Runnin' Bulldogs return to home to Spangler Stadium on Thursday, March 14 to host Queens University of Charlotte at 5:00 p.m.
