Gardner-Webb Baseball Earns 11th Consecutive ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. — Gardner-Webb baseball has once again been recognized for its excellence in the classroom, earning its 11th consecutive American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award after posting a team GPA of 3.54 during the 2025-26 academic year.
The Runnin' Bulldogs continue to demonstrate a commitment to success both on the field and in the classroom, extending the program's impressive streak of academic recognition. The award honors collegiate baseball programs that achieve academic excellence and reflects the dedication of Gardner-Webb student-athletes, coaches and staff.
The American Baseball Coaches Association recognized more than 800 member high school and college programs nationwide with the 2025-26 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack. The award honors ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year.
